- Exceptional Family Resource Center: The Exceptional Family Resource Center (EFRC) provides support, information and education for families of children with disabilities and the professionals who assist these families.
- San Diego Regional Center: Offers services to people and families with disabilities in San Diego County. San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) is located at 4355 Ruffin Road San Diego, CA 92123 and can be contacted at (858) 576-2957.
- Department of Rehabilitation: The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works with people who have disabilities to help them get jobs, develop or promote in their current jobs, live on their own, and enjoy a life equal to others.
- Autism Tree: Autism Tree is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving autism communities around the world and benefiting the entire family.
- Special Needs Resource Foundation of San Diego: Each year San Diego Family Magazine publishes Flourishing Families, the annual special needs resource guide for families and agencies in San Diego and Imperial County. It is a comprehensive list of behavior, education and health resources.
- HOPE Infant Program: HOPE Infant Program is a special education program that offers services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families.
- Reach Out to Families Resource Center: The Reach Out to Families Resource Center has been a hidden gem of the community since it was established in 1995. The Center utilizes an information and referral system that links SBUSD students and families to agencies that provide assistance with resources and services, such as food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, health and dental care, counseling and mental health care, crisis intervention, educational support, and a variety of other basic needs.
