    Welcome to Purchasing, Warehouse and Print Shop

     

    The Purchasing Department is responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the South Bay Union School District in accordance with all applicable Federal and State statutes and District regulations. Responsibilities include purchasing or contracting for all supplies, materials, equipment and contractual services.  Call us for price quotes, vendor recommendations or warranty repairs.  We also manage the districts Fixed Assets database, monitoring the movement of equipment between sites, and handling the sale of surplus items.

     

    The Warehouse coordinates the transportation of materials between schools, schedules the daily district mailrun, and picks up obsolete equipment for survey.  With centralized receiving, they check in all the goods purchased for the district and prepare to deliver them.  The Stores Warehouse stocks over 250 of the most common items needed. They pick up recycle goods, and coordinate moving staff.

     

    The Print Shop will print high volume orders, envelopes, business cards, banners, color copies, instructional materials and much more.  They have a stock of over 85 district forms.  Give them a call with your printing needs.

     

    SURPLUS SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT are available for purchase by the public through www.publicsurplus.com.  This is the district's online auction resource to dispose of items no longer needed by our district.
