Content Approval Process

Digital Content will be approved using the following criteria:

  • Instructional content
  • Free from biases
  • How the company retains and/or archives data, aligned with CIPA, COPPA, and FERPA
  • How the content impacts the Technology Department beyond the current load.
  • Security of the content.
  • Accessibility for all students. 

The process will be:

  1. Teacher completes the form. Login with your Google account. 
  2. Approval goes to:
    • Learning and Innovation
    • Content Approval Team
    • Technology Team
  3. Application/Tool/Website is approved or declined.

Before you begin:

  • Have you logged into LearnPlatform with your sbusd.net account.
  • Do you know if the content you want has a cost, and what is the funding source?
  • Are you sure the software is free from biases and is accessible to all students?
