The Maintenance and Operations Department is responsible for maintenance and repair of all District buildings, grounds, and equipment.  Department staff coordinates custodial and landscape operations, manages energy services, performs minor remodeling and construction projects, installs relocatable classrooms, and oversees the District's Defferred Maintenance, Modernization, and new School Construction Programs.
 
The Maintenance and Operations Department also has primary responsibility for compliance relating to:
  • Safety and Cleanliness
  • AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act)
  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Integrated Pest Management
  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention
